Broad River Community Market works to improve access to fresh, local produce for people across Cleveland County. Through partnerships with local farmers, we provide free produce and eggs at pop-up markets in Shelby and surrounding communities—absolutely free.

Our goal is simple: to create a free food bank in Shelby, NC that serves the area’s communities with equal access to the healthy food they need.

Supporting Cleveland County Food Assistance

Many communities in Cleveland County face challenges when it comes to accessing fresh, nutritious food. Broad River Community Market focuses on bridging that gap by connecting local farms with people who need them most.
