Volunteer at Market!

Every Monday and every other Wednesday at 4:30 we give away fresh, local produce. This began the week following Hurricane Helene, where we gave away meals and produce to over 200 people in one day.

Since then, we’ve showed up every week rain or shine to offer veggies, fruit, eggs, and milk. Everyone is welcome to take what they need, no questions asked.

We need volunteers in Shelby, Grover, and Polkville!

Volunteer in the Garden!

Mondays and Wednesdays before market we meet at our community garden on Old North Farm to harvest the food we need for the day and take care of the garden!

Our start times usually vary based on the season. We also host additional garden workdays on the weekend, especially during the summer months. Volunteering in the community garden is a great way to learn new skills and meet new people!

Volunteer your skill set!

There are so many creative ways to donate your time and skills! Our volunteers have given their time, including offering their services fixing a sink, or offering their expertise in communications, website design, accounting, and more!

We always could use a hand. A great way to get plugged in is attending our volunteer mixer, which happens once a month. Or, you can reach out to megan@broadrivermarket.org
